Harry P. Leu Gardens

A place of immense natural beauty, this 50 acre Leu garden was once the stately home of Harry P. and Mary Jane Leu. It is situated on the picturesque shores of lake Rowene.

At any time of the year, the garden is a riot of color and showcases nature's beauty at its best. Among the vast array of unique gardens are an herb garden, a butterfly garden, a vegetable garden and an annual garden brimming with flowers year- round.

A lush tropical stream garden delights your senses, while a desert garden unfolds its prickly beauty in the form of a variety of cacti.

Mary Jane's rose garden is heady with the fragrance of roses. One of the prime attractions is the floral clock. The house itself is worth a visit with many beautiful paintings for sale.

Hours : Gardens: 9a- 5p (except Christmas Day), Leu House Museum: 10a- 4p (closed in July)
