Arnold Palmer Invitational

Arnold Palmer Invitational is an annual golf tournament. Formerly known as Bay Hill invitational, it is renowned golfer Arnold Palmer's winter home.

The event is hosted by Bay Hill Club owner and PGA legend Arnold Palmer. Recent tournament champions include Tiger Woods (2000- 03), Chad Campbell ('04) and Kenny Perry ('05).

Originally, the Bay Hill Club and Lodge was the dream of a group of investors from Nashville, Tennessee, who in 1960 had a desire to create a private haven where they could enjoy a game of golf undisturbed. Bay Hill's championship 18 holes opened for play.

The tournament attracts some of the best talents in the country and the entire tournament is supervised by famous golf professionals.

Started in 1979, the tournament has grown in stature. Over the years the tournament has features many big names and many interesting games.
